Water your newly seed fescue lawns everyday for 15 minutes. Continue this watering pattern for 2 weeks. It is very important to not let the seed dry out.
After 2 weeks you can back off the watering to every other day. Water for 20 minutes.
Once the four weeks pass water every 3 or 4 days or as need if we get hot weather.
By Nov. you can water once a week.
Water is much cheeper the sod. If you let your lawn die it is going to have to be replace. The only way to do this is to sod it. The going rate for Bermuda sod is about $1000 per 1000 square feet. As you can see it is much cheeper to water. Water also gives you the nice green lawn that you wanted when you hired us.
It is time to raise your cutting blade by 1/4 inch.
